We are pleased to welcome you to our Batizado where students from Grupo Senzala, Mestre Camarão will be deeply graduated or graded. The weekend program will offer a fantastic opportunity to practice capoeira, recharge your energy, and enjoy the community with others. The atmosphere is always special and inspiring - an experience that will leave you eager for more.

Brazilian capoeira masters will teach adults and youth, and the children will be divided by age. We encourage students from Grupo Senzala, Mestre Camarão, and other capoeira groups, both nationally and internationally, to participate in this cultural meeting that brings people together across age, gender, nationality, and capoeira groups. Let's enjoy together the beautiful and magical world of capoeira.

Batizado & Graduation

During the Batizado, the school's newest students receive their capoeira baptism when they play against a master or higher-ranked student for the first time, with the entire invited capoeira community, family, and friends as witnesses. More advanced students will be awarded new belts based on merit. Masters and higher-ranked individuals will demonstrate the best of Capoeira gameplay, providing a world-class showcase.

The price for guests without wristbands is 60kr, and children under 15 years old enter for free. These can be purchased upon registration or at the door if any are still available. Doors open at 10:15

Registration

Registration for the event takes place during the daily training sessions in the 14 days leading up to the capoeira event. Payment upon registration is made during the training sessions where participants will receive a wristband to be worn throughout the event.

External guests have the option to purchase day passes for 500kr for teen/adult training sessions or pay the regular price for the entire weekend.

We want to make it easier for guests from abroad to attend our event, so we have reduced the price for them. Please register at the bottom of the page and indicate if overnight accommodation is needed for assistance with booking.
